Janet and I wanted to thank you for your prompt and professional action to get our water problems resolved in such a timely manner. It seems all too often these days, people do not take an interest in their work and just go through the motions. That is certainly reflected in the quality of their work and their attitude toward their job.

It was very refreshing to see individuals who demonstrate such enthusiasm for their work and strive to make a very bad situation better. The peace of mind you gave to Janet and me when you responded to our emergency call can not be paid with cash or check. Dear Tom:
It's 10:30 Saturday evening the fire department has just left. Where do you begin? What do you do? The fire wasn't that serious, the damage wasn't that great, no one was hurt, but your mind still hasn't started functioning on a normal level. Oh yes, the fireman said to call your insurance agent, so that is where to start.

Our insurance agent was called and the rest was handled. Tom Scott of Steamway was at our home before we knew it. Handling what needed to be handled even though it was late Saturday evening. He was there again Sunday making sure that by Monday our home was already on its way to being cleaned and smoke free.

The staff that Steamway brought in was professional and efficient. Yet at the same time they were very caring about us, and our belongings. They modified what they did and how and when to work around us and what we needed. They helped us with our feelings as well as our smoke and soot.

I guess what says it best is when they left less than a week later after cleaning absolutely everything in our home, one of the gals came up to my wife and gave her a hug, when they were the ones who helped us. They were the ones who deserved the gratitude. It just shows how much they care about the people they are working to serve.

Tom my hat is off to you and your crew for doing such a wonderful job helping us to deal with something very traumatic. That you so very much.

To Whom it May Concern:
We want to thank Steamway Cleaning for their care and concern as they came and restored our home after a kitchen fire, which caused smoke damage throughout our home. In comparison to what many experience in a major fire loss, a small fire may seem to be minor to some and one would presume there would not be much disruption. I did not realize the trauma of a fire no matter what the damages. The personnel of Steamway brought us through a difficult time and realized any measure of loss is traumatic.

Steamway phoned us immediately. They were extremely sensitive to our emotional well being as well as making sure that every detail of restoring our home to its original state was taken care of. Each time they came, they called and reported what progress had been made and made sure we were satisfied with the previous days' cleaning. The cleaning crews were very willing to accommodate our concerns, no matter how trivial they seemed to be. The management was truly available and in communication with us continually. The genuine concern and sincerity of the crew and management turned a distressing situation into a blessing. I feel as though we had made friends that truly care about us and our home. I would recommend them to everyone and I especially commend our insurance company for utilizing a company of such excellence. The job they did was outstanding!
